In such a situation, an unknown person has threatened Mumbai Police to cause an accident in the India-New Zealand match. The person making the threat tagged the Twitter handle of Mumbai Police and posted a picture of a gun, head grenade and cartridges in one picture. At the same time, a picture with the content ‘Aag Laga Denge’ has been posted during the India-New Zealand match. The police have taken the incident seriously and have increased security outside the Wankhede ground.

Strong security arrangements

7 Deputy Commissioners of Police, 200 officers and 700 police personnel have been deployed in the police establishment. Parking on the road has been banned in front of all ten gates of Wankhede Stadium. The police have made arrangements for parking spaces within a radius of one kilometer. Entry into the grounds will be allowed from 11.30 am.
