Raipur- For the second phase, voting will be held on 70 seats on November 17, counting of votes will take place on December 3. Propaganda from public forums will be banned 48 hours in advance. This means that the election noise will stop from 5 pm today. There will be a ban on publicity other than door to door contact.

Let us tell you, the fate of a total of 958 candidates in 70 assembly constituencies is in the hands of the public. Of which 827 are male, 130 female and one of other gender. One crore 63 lakh 14 thousand 479 voters of the state will exercise their franchise. These include 81 lakh 41 thousand 624 male voters, 81 lakh 72 thousand 171 female voters and 684 third gender voters. A total of 18 thousand 833 polling stations have been set up for voting. Of these, 700 are Sangwari polling stations, where only women polling personnel will be posted.
