Bihar government announced compensation
Bihar government has announced a compensation amount of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of those killed in the North East Express train accident. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed grief over the incident and assured all possible assistance to the affected families. Let us tell you that Railways has also announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50 thousand each will be given to the injured.
Second train accident after four months
The incident comes a little more than four months after a tragic triple train accident in Odisha’s Balasore district in June. 296 people lost their lives in this accident.
