Ayodhya Deepotsav 2023: A new record has been made in Ayodhya today i.e. on Saturday on the occasion of Deepotsav. A world record has been created by lighting 22 lakh 23 thousand lamps simultaneously in Ram’s city. Earlier there was a record of lighting 18 lakh 81 thousand lamps. At the same time, this time Diwali will be celebrated twice in Ayodhya. One Diwali on 12th November and the second Diwali when the grand Ram temple will be inaugurated on 22nd January. Both the festivals will be historic moments for Ayodhya. Ayodhya is being decorated for Diwali and final touches are being given to the inauguration of the Ram temple.

World record made in Ayodhya

A grand festival of lights was organized in Ram’s city Ayodhya on Saturday, the eve of Diwali. During this period, more than 24 lakh lamps were lit at 51 ghats. People from different places including tribal people of Pakur district of Jharkhand witnessed the grand festival of lights. A video of Deepotsav has also surfaced. Ram’s city Ayodhya is illuminated in this video.

Many grand events were organized on this occasion. On one hand, cultural tableaus related to Lord Ram were brought out. At the same time, the artists were enthralling the people with their folk dance since morning. Thousands of people came to watch the sound and laser show. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath reached Ayodhya today, where he greeted the people of Ayodhya on the occasion of Deepotsav.

On making the world record at Deepotsav, the Guinness World Records team gave a certificate to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. At the same time, CM Yogi said in his congratulatory speech that whenever he used to come here earlier, only one slogan used to echo. Yogi ji do one thing and build a temple. He said that now the construction work of Ram temple is going on at a fast pace under the leadership of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
