An Indigo flight to Dibrugarh made an emergency landing at the popular Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, Assam on Sunday morning after a technical glitch. About 150 people were traveling in it. All the passengers on board the flight are absolutely safe. Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Rameshwar Teli and two BJP MLAs were also on board the Indigo flight.

What did the Union Minister tell

Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Rameshwar Teli (Union Minister) said after the emergency landing of Indigo flight that I was on board the plane with BJP MLAs Prashant Phukan and Terash Gowala. Today I have a program of three meetings in Duliajan, Tingkhang and Tinsukia. The flight was offloaded at the popular Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati after a sudden technical glitch. Also, the Airport Authority has also confirmed the emergency landing of the Dibrugarh bound Indigo flight. Emergency landing happened earlier also

A similar case had come to the fore on May 10 as well. A major accident of Indigo plane was averted. IndiGo A320ceo operating 6E-1007 from Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu to Singapore made an emergency landing at Kualanamu Airport Medan Indonesia. The pilots flying the plane smelled something burning. After which the pilot, showing understanding and following all the procedures, diverted to the nearest airport Kualanamu and landed the aircraft safely.
