Turkey Earthquake: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday evening interacted with the rescue teams of NDRF and other organizations that went to India for help after the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria. It shows your preparation and your training skills. The way you have worked there for ten days is commendable. The PM said that when there is a disaster in the world, India is the first to help. NDRF jawans showed amazing capability in Turkey and our dog squad members showed amazing strength. The country is proud of you.
During this, PM Modi said that our soldiers were facing death. The Indian team has done a work of human sympathy. We have seen pictures where a mother blesses you with a kiss on the forehead. The PM said that when there was an earthquake in Gujarat in 2001, I had worked as a volunteer and had personally seen the difficulties faced in rescuing people during that time. The earthquake in Turkey was even bigger. When someone helps others, he is selfless. PM Modi said that the tricolor plays an important role in every country.
