Turkey Earthquake: So far more than 50 thousand people have lost their lives due to the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria. Since the earthquake on February 6, earthquakes have occurred in Turkey many times, due to which the local people are living their lives in fear. With this, on Monday, after three weeks, there was an earthquake once again in the same area. Whose intensity was measured at 5.6 on the Richter scale.
Turkey’s earthquake has already caused more damage to buildings, after which more than two dozen buildings have now collapsed and killed at least one person and injured 69 people. The epicenter of the earthquake in Turkey is located in the city of Yeşiltar in the province of Malatya. At present, rescue work is being done here.
Efforts are on to rescue people buried under the debris in this earthquake. According to media reports, a father and daughter are trapped in the debris of the four-storey building. 173,000 buildings were damaged so far by the earthquake in Turkey on 6 February. With this, since then 10,000 earthquake tremors have been felt in Turkey.

- An earthquake of magnitude 6 to 6.9 can shake the foundations of buildings. Also, the upper floors can be damaged.
- Buildings collapse when an earthquake of magnitude 7 to 7.9 occurs.
- If an earthquake of magnitude 8 to 8.9 can destroy buildings as well as large bridges.
- An earthquake of magnitude 9 or more can cause massive devastation. If these tremors come near the sea, then there is a possibility of Tsunami.
