Dawood Ibrahim Poisoned: India’s most wanted fugitive don Dawood Ibrahim is admitted in Karachi hospital under tight security, while former Pakistan cricketer Javed Miandad has been kept under house arrest along with his family. Javed Miandad, considered a legend of Pakistani cricket, is a close relative of underworld don and terrorist Dawood Ibrahim. Dawood Ibrahim’s daughter is married to Javed Miandad’s son.

According to Pakistani media reports, the former cricketer has been kept under house arrest along with his entire family. Pakistani authorities have kept Javed Miandad and his family under house arrest as a precautionary measure. Several reports have claimed that Dawood Ibrahim was poisoned by unknown people for two days and after that he was taken to a hospital in Karachi.
Dawood, the main accused in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts, is undergoing treatment under tight security. At present, Dawood Ibrahim’s health condition remains critical and an entire floor has been sealed for him, where no one is allowed to meet him except his family and Pakistani officials. Social media platforms like X, Facebook and YouTube have also been disrupted in many cities of Pakistan including Karachi and Lahore.
Mastermind of Mumbai bomb blasts
Dawood Ibrahim is accused of masterminding the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts, in which around 250 people were killed and many were injured. These blasts gave rise to several riots in Mumbai and across the country. Dawood is accused of having close links with many terrorist organizations in Pakistan like Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Javed Miandad made many controversial comments against India
Miandad has recently made many controversial comments on India. He has said many anti-India things and recently he also created ruckus regarding the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya. Miandad said that Hindus coming to the newly constructed Ram temple will come posing as Muslims. The video went viral on the internet and Miandad was condemned in India for making such remarks which hurt the religious sentiments of many people.
