Tata Motors has recently decided to discontinue some trims in the Altroz lineup. According to a media report, the discontinued variants include XZ Plus Petrol, XZ Plus Petrol Dark Edition, XZ Plus i-Turbo, XZ Plus i-Turbo Petrol Dark Edition, XZA Plus Petrol, XZA Plus Petrol Dark Edition, XZ Plus Diesel and XZ Plus Diesel Dark Edition. In India, the Tata Altroz starts at a price of Rs 6.60 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with the i20 and Baleno. It is available in seven attractive colors – High Street Gold, Avenue White, Arcade Grey, Opera Blue, Downtown Red, Harbor Blue and Cosmo Black (Dark Edition).
Adding to the Altroz range, Tata Motors introduced two new variants earlier this week with prices starting from Rs 6.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Along with this, the carmaker has also revised the prices of select models in its lineup from this month and is offering price protection to select customers.
These new top-of-the-line variants offer a host of cool features in the Altroz. Its XM(S) model also gets an electric sunroof. Tata Motors aims to offer a wider range to the customers through the XM(S) variant between the Altroz XE and XM+.

Tata Motors is introducing a new range of new variants, designed to offer superior value and wider appeal to customers. This variant will exclusively offer the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine with a manual transmission. The Altroz XM model is equipped with many new and special features. This car includes steering-mounted controls, electrically adjustable foldable ORVM and stylish 16-inch wheels with covers.
Tata has introduced significant updates across various trims of the Altroz 1.2 petrol manual. In the XE variant, customers will now get the benefit of rear power windows, remote keyless entry and follow-me-home headlamps. Moving on to the XM Plus and XM Plus (S) variants, additional features have been added, such as reverse camera, cruise control and a premium looking dashboard, which enhance the driving experience.
