The Tata Altroz iCNG is the first CNG car in India to come with twin-cylinder CNG technology, available in six variants. At the same time, there are two variants of Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG. While the Altroz iCNG is priced at a starting price range of Rs 7,55,400 to Rs 10,54,990 (ex-showroom), the Baleno CNG on the other hand is priced between Rs 8,35,000 to Rs 9,28,000 (ex-showroom).

The Altroz iCNG uses the 1.2-litre Revotron engine, which develops 73.5PS of max power and 103Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Baleno CNG is powered by the 1.2-litre K-series engine, which produces 77PS of max power and 98.5Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties run a 5-speed manual unit.
