New Toll Rate: Increased toll tax of Delhi-Gurugram and Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, know from when the new rates will be applicable

Traveling on the National Highway and Expressway of the country will become expensive from April 1, 2023 i.e. from tonight. Toll tax has been increased on Delhi-Gurugram Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Sohna Elevated Road. The National Highways Authority of India i.e. NHAI has revised the toll rates for all categories of vehicles on these roads. NHAI officials said that after the latest revision, the toll fee has increased by 5-7 per cent depending on the type of vehicle. NHAI project director Nirman Jambulkar said the new rates would be applicable from April 1.

Delhi-Gurugram Expressway New Toll Tax Rate List

The fee for private cars at the Kherki Daula toll plaza of the expressway has not changed at Rs 80 per trip. The fee for light commercial vehicle has been increased from Rs 115 per trip earlier to Rs 120 per trip. A mini bus will cost Rs 120 as against Rs 115 per trip earlier. Buses, trucks and multi-axle vehicles will have to pay Rs 245 for each trip, which is Rs 10 more than the earlier rate. The monthly pass has been increased from Rs 875 to Rs 920. Now the cost of the pass for commercial car will be Rs 1215, while earlier it was Rs 1155. As per the new rate list, the toll has increased by Rs 5 for commercial vehicles and mini buses.

As per the revised rates at Sohna toll plaza, commuters using the Sohna elevated road will have to pay Rs 125 at Ghamroj toll plaza for a single journey, as against Rs 115 earlier. Light commercial vehicles will now have to pay Rs 200 per trip instead of Rs 190 per trip. Buses or trucks with two axles will have to pay Rs 420 per trip, while earlier they were paying Rs 400 per trip. Trucks with three axles will have to pay Rs 455 per trip, earlier these vehicles had to pay Rs 435. The highways authority said the monthly pass for commuters would come at Rs 330 as against the old rate of Rs 315. According to the new rate list, the toll has increased by Rs 10 for passengers, Rs 10 for light commercial vehicles and Rs 20 for two-axle buses or trucks.

Delhi-Mumbai Expressway New Toll Tax Rate List

Toll charges for commuters using the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway have also been revised. As per the new rates, a car or jeep will have to pay Rs 95 instead of Rs 90 for a journey from Hilalpur to KMP crossing. The NHAI notification states that the rate up to Ghata Shamshabad is now Rs 185 instead of Rs 175. The rate till Badkapara, the last exit near Dausa, is now Rs 525 instead of Rs 500.
