According to Autocar India, this offer is valid for both petrol and diesel versions of the SUV.
The Mahindra Thar 4WD SUV comes in AX O and LX trims. It gets a choice of 152 hp, 300 Nm, 2.0-litre petrol engine or 130 hp, 300 Nm, 2.2-litre diesel engine. A 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission is available for these engines. The vehicle has crossed a new production milestone of 1 lakh units, and a cheaper variant is expected to hit the market soon.
