How to make EWS certificate for Nursery Admission

Documents you will need to get EWS certificate. Such as Aadhar Card, ID Proof, PAN Card, BPL Card, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Self Declaration Form, Land/Property Documents, Residential Proof, Passport Size Photo and the card remains valid for one year after issue.

Certificate check for Nursery Admission

When you submit the EWS certificate, it is checked by the department at edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in. Income certificate is not asked from those who get admission under DG category. This reservation is for EWS DG and CWSN categories.

EWS category facilities for Nursery Admission

EWS category candidates are given 25 percent reservation. That means, out of the total admissions in any school, 25 percent should be students from EWS category. They get many facilities even after admission. Like- free books, school uniform, writing material. Also, no fees of any kind is charged from them.

Nursery Admission Benefits For EWS: Who will be eligible?

EWS category includes those students whose family income is less than Rs 10 lakh per year. Candidates who submit BPL, Income or Food Security Card (issued by the Food and Supplies Department) will not be asked for EWS certificate. At the same time, these candidates will not be refused school admission on the basis of distance.
