HSSC got a blow from the High Court

HSSC: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has been given a big blow by the Punjab-Haryana High Court. In fact, the High Court has stayed the recruitment process of Seed Certification Officer (SCO) and Mining Inspector till further orders. According to the order received from the court, the commission can continue the recruitment process for other posts except these posts. While filing this petition, Pinky and others told the High Court that the Haryana government had decided to fill Group C and D posts through CET.

Did not give exam despite registration

It is being said that for this the government has also started registration and conducted examinations. The posts that were decided to be filled during this period did not include the posts of Seed Certification Officer and Mining Inspector. The petitioners were working on contract basis in the concerned department and did not appear for the examination after registration due to non-advertisement of these posts. After this, Haryana Staff Selection Commission released the advertisement of 33 posts of SCO and 74 posts of Mining Inspector and decided to fill them on the basis of CET.

The petitioners termed this claim as false.

The petitioners pointed out that the commission issued an advertisement regarding the examination, but there was no mention of recruitment to the posts of Seed Certification Officer and Mining Inspector. Due to this he was debarred from appearing for these posts. The petitioners say that if the advertisement for these posts had been issued, they would have definitely given this examination held in November 2022. On the other hand, opposing the petition on behalf of the Haryana government, it said that the government had made it clear that all the posts of Group C and Group D would be filled through CET only.
