Haryana Forest Guard:The Haryana government has given a big blow to the youth. Actually, the Haryana government has changed the educational qualification for the Forest Guard. Haryana State Forest Executive Section (Group-C) Service Rules 1998 has been amended in the recent cabinet meeting of the government and then this decision was taken.

Not only this, out of total 117 posts of Mining Guard, the proposal to upgrade 22 posts of Mining Guard to the posts of Senior Mining Guard has also been approved. Now with this amendment, the minimum educational qualification for the posts of Senior Mining Guard has now been fixed at 12th. Let us inform that earlier the education qualification for these posts used to be 10th.

Minimum Educational Qualification for Forest Guards is 12th
The government had kept 10th as the minimum educational qualification for the recruitment of forest guards, but now the commission (hssc) conducted the Common Entrance Test, in which they have changed the educational qualification to 10+2 i.e. 12th. At the same time, the cabinet has also approved the amendment to increase the educational qualification i.e. educational qualification for the recruitment of forest guards from 10th to 10+2 with Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in matriculation.
Revised Eligibility Criteria
After upgrading 22 posts of Mining Guard to Senior Mining Guard, now the Haryana Mining and Geology Department Group-C Service Rules 1998 have revised these eligibility criteria to fill the posts of Senior Mining Guard by promotion. These posts belong to Mining Guard, candidates who have 12th pass educational qualification with Hindi or Sanskrit and have 10 years of experience as Mining Guard, these posts will be filled through promotion.
