Gurugram: Tantrikers deceived lakhs in the name of exorcising spirits

Gurgaon: In the Sector 5 Police Station area, 22 lakh rupees (thugs) were stolen from a tantriker under the pretense of chasing away the shadow of the spirits. The tantric committed the crime along with his daughter and wife. Upon the victim’s complaint, the police registered a case, named the tantriker and his wife and daughter, and launched an investigation.

Naresh Kumar, a resident of Kheda Devat in Dayanand Colony, said he only got sick after two years of his marriage. Despite intensive treatment, he could not recover. Meanwhile, one of his acquaintances told him about Rajesh Tantrik, a resident of Dayanand colony. Tantrik Rajesh narrated that he was possessed by evil spirits. That’s why he won’t get well. No medicine will work on him until the demon is cast out. By talking like this, the tantric lured him into a trap and he began treating him.

It is claimed that the tantric began treating him to cure the disease caused by the shadow of the spirits. During treatment, the tantric, along with his wife and daughter, cheated him out of 22 lakh rupees in cash, a gold chain, a ring and other valuables. The police took up the case and initiated an investigation. The investigating officer said that after receiving the complaint, a case was registered. The case is under investigation.
