UP Kanwar Yatra: Keeping in view of the Kanwar Yatra in Uttar Pradesh tomorrow i.e. on August 21, a significant change has been made in the traffic arrangements at many places. The entry of common people will be completely prohibited at the place from where the Kavadis will pass. The police have become very alert in view of maintaining law and order in the state and any other kind of activities.

Special arrangements on the route of Kanwariyas

Police personnel have been deployed at various places in Moradabad district of western Uttar Pradesh from where the Kanwar Yatra will start. Elaborate security arrangements have been made. There will be zero traffic here. It can be understood in simple words that there will be a complete ban on two-wheelers and cars coming and going from both the sides. This system will remain in place from 8 am today till 8 am on Monday, which means there is a 24-hour ban.

Earlier, in view of Sawan Monday, a large number of Kavadis from Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly and other districts have reached Brajghat with water. Groups of these Kavadis will leave for different places from this morning itself. Due to this, jam is expected in many districts of UP. The districts where traffic jam is expected include Gajraula, Pakbada, Moondhapande and Rampur.

Zero traffic will be applicable

People traveling to Kanwar should not face any kind of trouble, so police and traffic police officers had an important meeting. During this, while giving information from the Superintendent of Police, it was said that the traffic on the New Delhi Highway will be absolutely zero for 24 hours. In this, only a few vehicles will be allowed, including ambulances, fire brigade and vehicles of police officers.

Use these routes to travel

For those people who have to go from one place to another in UP, the traffic police has set some routes for this also. People who have to travel to Amroha can go from Moradabad to Agwanpur, Agwanpur Bypass to Kailasa Road, Kailasa Road to Amroha. Also, those who want to come to Delhi from Bareilly will enter Delhi via Milak, Shahabad, Bilari, Sirsi, Sambhal, Gawan, Narora, Dibai, Shikarpur, Bulandshahr, Hapur and Ghaziabad. At the same time, the police has also made special arrangements to go from Moradabad to Meerut. All those people can easily reach Meerut from Azad Nagar via Bilari, Sirsi, Sambhal, Gawan, Narora, Dibai, Shikarpur, Bulandshahr.
