Hamirpur: Mother sets fire to four-month old baby in her lap, both die;  Domestic dispute became the reason

Hamirpur: In Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh, a 22-year-old woman set herself on fire with her four-month-old daughter in her lap. Due to which both mother and daughter died. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police took the body into their custody and sent it to the district hospital for post-mortem. It is being told that the incident happened due to domestic dispute.

Let us tell you, the incident took place on Monday morning in Pahari Dera village of Muskra police station. A 22-year-old woman set herself on fire along with her four-month-old daughter. In critical condition, the mother and daughter were taken from CHC Muskara to the Medical College, Orai, where both of them lost their lives during treatment. The deceased’s husband is absconding since the incident.

With the help of neighbours, the mother and daughter were brought to the hospital for treatment, from where both were referred to Orai Medical College and an attempt was made to save their lives. Both of them died during treatment here. According to CHC doctor Dr. Manulika Verma, the mother and daughter were 80 percent burnt. The post mortem of both has been conducted in Orai Medical College itself.

As soon as information about the incident was received, the deceased’s mother Sukhwati also reached the spot along with the family members. Mother Sukhwati told that Kiran had come to her in-laws house just two days ago from her maternal home. The granddaughter’s tonsure was to take place in the Mundan Devi temple on Monday itself, but the creator had something else to show. Uttam was married four years ago to Kiran, daughter of Bhagwan Singh Rajput, resident of Gauharari village, district Mahoba. At the same time, in this incident, Police Inspector Shashi Pandey said that at present he has not received the complaint, further action will be taken on the basis of the complaint.
