Ayodhya Ram Navami 2024 Celebration: Today, on Wednesday (April 17), the festival of Ram Navami is being celebrated with great pomp across the country. This time Ram Navami is very special for Ayodhya. After a long struggle of 500 years, the grand temple of Ramlala came true at Ram Janmabhoomi, while this is the first Ram Navami after Pran-Pratishtha. Special worship of Ramlala is going on. At 12 noon, Lord Surya himself will do the tilak of Suryavanshi Ramlala with his rays. During this time there will be Abhijeet Muhurta. According to Valmiki Ramayana, Shri Ram was born at this time in Tretayuga.
Before this, special makeup of Ramlala was done. He was bathed with milk and curd Panchgavya. Sandalwood paste was applied on the forehead. Ramlala is wearing the divine garland of flowers. Till 8 am, 6 lakh devotees had darshan of Ramlala. Apart from this, there is a flood of faith on Ram Path, Bhakti Path and Janmabhoomi Path. After Shayan Aarti, the doors of Ramlala will be closed at 3:30 pm.

Ramlala in gold studded yellow-pink dress
The birth anniversary of Ramlala will start in the entire country including Ayodhya from Surya Tilak. Ramlala will appear in gold jewelery and gem studded attire. Her gem-studded attire is made in two colours, yellow and pink. The clothes have been stitched and embroidered with gold threads.
Ramlala will be adorned with crown, earrings, necklace, tilak, armbands and bangles. There will also be a bow and arrow with gold string. There will be a paste of sandalwood on his forehead and ruby will be grinded and mixed in it, so that the Lord’s head will shine in the light.

The curtain will remain closed during the birth anniversary
Ram temple priest Santosh Tiwari said that the birth anniversary of Ramlala will be held on April 17 at exactly 12 noon. On this occasion, the Lord will be dressed in yellow silk clothes, a gold crown weighing 4 kg and jewels studded with gems. In which diamonds, emeralds and rubies will be studded. Small idols of Ram, Bharat, Lakshman and Shatrughan will also be adorned with gold crowns. Before the birth anniversary in the afternoon, the curtain of Ramlala will remain closed for about 20 minutes.
