Ram Temple Ayodhya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will consecrate the idol of Ram Lalla on January 22 in the sanctum sanctorum of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. After this, politics has also started on this matter. Leaders of opposition parties questioned why only PM Modi has been invited. Also said that it will become a party program just before the Lok Sabha elections. Congress leader Salman Khurshid asked whether invitations were being sent to only one party. God belongs to everyone. Every party should have received an invitation. They should have at least made it clear that everyone would be invited.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said there was no need to invite PM Modi as he himself would attend such a big event. He said that Ram temple had to be built. Thousands of Karsevaks sacrificed their lives for this. All Hindutva organizations and parties were involved in this. Shiv Sena, Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad were there. Lal Krishna Advani took out Rath Yatra. It is the result of all this that Ram temple is being constructed. He said that this is the reason why PM Modi will go and do puja but I think this is preparation for the elections.
DMK leader said- BJP will use Ram to take political advantage
On PM Modi receiving the invitation, DMK leader TKS Elangovan said that he has destroyed history and replaced it with mythology. Any country should be proud of its history. BJP is trying to destroy history. He wants to use it as a political tool. He has no interest in Ram. BJP does not consider Ram essential but their political gains become important so they are using Ram for their political gains.
