Chitrakoot Accident: A horrific road accident took place in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. This accident took place at around 12 noon on Jhansi Mirzapur National Highway in Chitrakoot when Janrath bus and Bolero collided head-on. Five people died in this accident, while more than 10 were injured.
According to the information, this accident happened near Bagrehi Lalapur of Raipura police station. Five people have died in this accident, while more than 10 have been injured. The accident was immediately informed to the police. Police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the hospital for treatment. The condition of some of the injured is said to be serious. Those who have been referred from Community Health Center Ramnagar and District Hospital to Prayagraj. DM and SP have also reached the spot.
The police admitted the injured to the district hospital and Ramnagar hospital in three ambulances. While three have been referred to Prayagraj. According to the information, the deceased is a resident of Madhya Pradesh, efforts are being made to identify him. It is being told that the Janrath bus was going from Chitrakoot to Prayagraj, while the Bolero was returning to Chitrakoot. During this time a major accident took place near Bagrehi Lalapur. At the same time, the main reason behind the incident is said to be that the Bolero suddenly came in the wrong direction, due to which the collision occurred.

According to eyewitnesses, the collision was so strong that the Bolero was blown to pieces. Apart from this, three people died on the spot. The rest died during treatment. A child is also included in these dead. At the same time, the police have registered a case in this regard and started further action.
