On Thursday night, 6 people were present with Vinay Srivastava at the house of Union Minister Kaushal Kishore’s son in Dubagga, Lucknow. When the police investigated the matter, it was found that everyone was gambling in the house at night, during which there was a mutual dispute regarding gambling again. Within no time, the dispute escalated so much that one of the accused shot Vinay with Vikas Kishore’s pistol.
Four accused were taken into custody from the spot
According to media reports, after receiving information that 28-year-old Vinay Srivastava was shot dead, DCP West Rahul Raj and ACP Kakori Anup Kumar Singh reached the spot with the police team. Apart from this, the forensic team also reached the spot and inspected and collected evidence. Police also recovered Vikas Kishore’s pistol from the spot and detained four accused from the spot.
Murder after dispute over gambling
Giving information about the case, DCP said that Vinay Srivastava Kanhaiya is a resident of Madhavpur ward Faridipur. Vinay’s brother Vikas Srivastava told that Vinay had gone to Vikas Kishore’s house on Thursday night. Ajay Rawat, Shamim, Ankit Verma and Baba live at Vikas’s house. All the four people ate and drank with modesty. After this, there was a dispute over gambling and Vinay was shot dead. At present, the police have taken all four accused into custody and are interrogating them.
