Rajasthan Suicide Case: Online gaming ludo took the life of a young man in Shri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan. Trapped in the affair of online games, a debt-ridden youth committed suicide by consuming poisonous substances. The local police recovered his body from a deserted area behind the Hanuman temple on the national highway. The body has been sent for postmortem and the matter is being investigated.

Rajasthan Police said, “They received information that the body of a youth was lying on the highway in Suratgarh in Sriganganagar district. After getting the information, the city police station in-charge reached the spot and found the body of a 20-year-old boy.” His name is being told as Naresh Kumar.” According to the information received from the friends of the deceased, Naresh used to play Ludo online for a long time. He often used to put money in the game. After winning money many times in online gaming, Naresh got stuck in the quagmire of the game. After that he started losing continuously. But, by then the gaming addiction had become so much that in order to meet the loss, he kept on taking loan and investing more money. When the loan amount increased, he started getting worried.

Naresh had reached relatives’ house to prepare for competitive exam

It is being speculated that the King may have taken this step due to debt stress. Naresh’s friends further told that he had reached the house of relatives living in Suratgarh to prepare for competitive exams. During this, he had also brought around Rs 18,000 from his house, which he lost in online ludo. Because of this he had come under depression and committed suicide.
