Opposition Manipur Visit: President Draupadi Murmu has given time to a delegation of 21 opposition MPs to meet tomorrow i.e. Wednesday regarding the Manipur violence case. The President will meet the opposition delegation tomorrow at 11.30 am. In this meeting, opposition MPs will hold talks with the President on the functioning of Parliament including the Manipur and Haryana issue. During this, the opposition will be led by Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge. Congress sources have shared this information.

Opposition delegation returned on Sunday

According to media reports, the opposition had sent a delegation of 21 MPs to Manipur to understand the ground situation. This visit of the opposition was of two days. The delegation returned to Delhi from Manipur last Sunday itself. After returning to Delhi, the MPs while talking to the media also explained the situation in Manipur. After this, now these delegations will meet the President and explain the situation to resolve the Manipur issue.

Delegation met the Governor

A delegation of 21 opposition MPs has returned from Manipur tour on Sunday itself. MPs met Governor Anusuiya Uikey in Manipur and requested him to address the violence. During this, Governor Anusuiya said that she is trying hard to control the situation in the state, but the Governor has limited powers. At the same time, JDU National President Rajeev Ranjan Singh (JDU MP Rajeev Ranjan Singh) said that people of both Kuki and Meitei communities are feeling insecure in Manipur. No concrete steps are being taken by the government to stop the violence.
