Notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi of Punjab was presented in Moga Court on 1 July. The Punjab Police took him from the Bathinda Central Jail to the Moga court amidst heavy security arrangements. Please tell that in a case of Section 307, Lawrence is lodged in Bathinda jail for a long time. After filing the charge sheet, the court sent Lawrence to Bathinda jail on judicial remand till July 17.
Significantly, on December 1, 2021, gangster Goldie Brar sent two of his shooters Jodha and Monu Dagar to kill Jitender Dhamija, brother of Moga’s Deputy Mayor. Instead of Jitender Dhamija, the shooters mistakenly attacked his brother Sunil Dhamija and his son Pratham. Monu could not fire because of a sudden lock of the pistol. During this, Jodha fired a bullet at Pratham’s leg. On the other hand, despite being injured, Sunil held Monu Dagar and handed him over to the police. The second shooter Jodha managed to escape. Both the shooters belonged to the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. In this case, the Moga police had registered a case against Jodha and Monu Dagar. Lawrence Bishnoi’s name was also registered in the same case. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was presented in the court in this case on Saturday.

More than two dozen cases are registered against Lawrence Bishnoi
According to media reports, there are more than two dozen criminal cases registered against gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in Punjab. In such circumstances, he was kept in Bathinda jail only. He will be kept there till the case is over. If hearing has to be held in any other court, it will be done through video conferencing only.
