Operation Blue Star: Today i.e. Tuesday is the 39th anniversary of Operation Blue Star. On this occasion, programs have been organized in entire Punjab including Amritsar. During this, some people raised slogans of Khalistan Zindabad in the Golden Temple located in Amritsar. Khalistani flags were waved and posters of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale were also waved.
Let us tell you that 39 years ago, Operation Blue Star was carried out at the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab. This action was taken by the Indian Army on the orders of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Khalistan supporter Jarnail Singh Bhindrawala was killed in this action. The entire operation was executed under the leadership of General Kuldeep Singh Brar and General AS Vaidya. It is being told that every year after that incident, the anniversary of Operation Blue Star is celebrated in many cities of Punjab. In this episode, a function was organized at the Akal Takht located in the Golden Temple. A large number of people gathered in the Golden Temple complex. During this, some people who came to the program waved posters and flags of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and raised slogans in support of Khalistan.

Let us tell you that alert is going on in entire Punjab regarding the 39th anniversary of Operation Blue Star. Security has also been increased around the Golden Temple in Amritsar. 3500 jawans have been deployed only in Amritsar. Apart from this, police has also been guarded on all the roads around Takhtashree Harmandir Sahib. A similar incident also took place in California, USA on Monday. In view of this, the Punjab government has taken very strict steps so that no untoward incident happens.
