Bhopal.In Nishatpura police station area, a case of rape has come to light by holding a woman hostage in a room and threatening to kill her three-year-old son. Meanwhile, the woman’s brother-in-law, who reached home, caught hold of the accused and thrashed him fiercely. The accused was seriously injured in the fight with rods and kick punches. Neighbors reached after hearing the noise and the seriously injured person was rescued and taken to the hospital. In the above case, on the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case of rape, assault, rape by taking hostage along with threatening to kill against the accused. Similarly, on the complaint of the injured, a case has been registered against the victim’s brother-in-law under other sections including assault, threatening to kill.
According to the police, a 27-year-old woman living in the area is a housewife. She lives with husband, three-year-old son and brother-in-law. The woman’s husband and brother-in-law had gone to work on Saturday morning. At around 11.30 am, Suresh Gurjar, a resident of the locality, entered his house and locked the door. At that time the woman was working in the kitchen. When she opposed Suresh coming inside, he overpowered the woman and forcibly raped her by threatening to kill the innocent child. Meanwhile, when the brother-in-law returned home from some work, he found the door locked and the sound of sister-in-law’s screams was coming from inside. When he kicked and broke the door, Suresh was found inside flirting with the woman.

Seeing the accused entering the house, the victim’s brother-in-law caught hold of him and first beat him with kicks and punches and later attacked him with a rod and beat him fiercely. Hearing the commotion, the people around intervened and rescued Suresh. Injured Suresh has been admitted to the hospital for treatment after suffering serious injuries in his mouth and head. Police have registered a case of rape against Suresh on the report of the woman and serious assault against the brother-in-law of the woman on the report of Suresh.
