Madhya Pradesh assembly elections are to be held later this year. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Bhopal to see its preparations. On reaching Bhopal, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and other BJP leaders welcomed him. Along with him, BJP’s Madhya Pradesh Assembly election in-charge and Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav and co-incharge Ashwini Vaishnav have also reached Bhopal. Amit Shah will hold a meeting of different teams on the state’s election preparations at the BJP office today. Will also review the election preparations made so far from the booth level to the state level. In this, preparations at booth level, efforts made so far to increase vote percentage to 51, reports of expansionists from outside states will be discussed. He will also hold a meeting with the state level core group. It is believed that his first election tour will be limited to feedback for the time being.
