Bhopal, In Madhya Pradesh’s Shahdol district, a major accident took place when the engine of the goods train caught fire after two goods trains collided with each other. One driver was killed in the accident while five others were said to be injured. Relief and rescue work is going on. Rail traffic has been disrupted due to the cancellation of several trains. The accident took place at Singhpur railway station in Shahdol district.
Many trains had to be canceled
Due to this accident of Bilaspur-Katni railway section of South East Central Railway, rail traffic has stopped on all the three lines up, down and middle on the route. Due to this, many trains have had to be canceled and the routes of many trains have been changed. Bhopal Railway Division spokesperson Subedar Singh said that many trains passing through Bhopal Railway Division have been canceled from their starting stations on Wednesday. In this, train number 18234 Bilaspur-Indore Narmada Express and train number 12853 Durg-Bhopal Amarkantak Express have been cancelled.
