Except for VIP trains like Shatabdi, Rajdhani, tickets are not available in all other trains.

People go there in large numbers as it is about 8-9 hours journey by train. Due to Corona, for the last two years, large scale events regarding Holi were not organized there. People who made reservations well in time got confirmed tickets, but those who are now planning to go to Mathura are not getting berths in the trains. Passengers are getting waiting tickets in Mathura-bound Bhopal Express, Chhattisgarh Express. Due to non-availability of reservation in trains, people are now resorting to taxis. For this, people are reaching travel agencies to book taxis.
47 taxi bookings in last one week
Booking is being done continuously at various tour operators in Bhopal. About 47 taxi bookings have been done in Bhopal. Pritam Goswami, director of Mahakal Tour and Travels, said that taxi bookings are coming for the last one week for the 6th, 7th and 8th dates regarding Holi. About 17 taxis have been booked with us so far. So on the other hand Ravi Kumar, director of New Bhopal Travel Agency told that for the last one week there has been a spurt in taxi booking to go to Mathura. Everyday 2-3 people are coming here for booking.
