Bhopal – Madhya Pradesh The state government has constituted a committee to stop the active Naxalites and movement. Along with this, another committee will also work on controlling the law and order situation in the state. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Chief Secretary Iqlab Singh Bains will be the chairman of these high power committees. Apart from this, Home Minister Narottam Mishra and a dozen ACS level officers of various departments have also been included.
The committees will prepare proposals according to the intention of the state government. Besides, the meetings of the committees will also be held twice a year. The state government has issued an order in this regard. According to the GAD, a committee has been constituted regarding Naxal activity, law and order and security of the state. On the lines of S-MAC, a high power team has also been formed in Madhya Pradesh. The team will act as a unified command for coordination with the central security forces and the police. Apart from this, the Development Core Group will give suggestions for people-oriented development and approval of schemes in Naxal-affected areas. Officials say that providing employment to the youth in Naxal-affected districts is a big challenge for the state government. Apart from this, committees will give suggestions for implementation of schemes of public interest in Balaghat, Mandla and Dindori.
