Property prices increased by 5 to 100 percent in the guideline, buying a house will be expensive from April 1

Bhopal. This time, the Registration Department has proposed increased rates in places where five registries have been done at more than 30 per cent cost, including 10 per cent increase in 409 locations, 20 per cent in 308 locations and 25 per cent in 16 locations. is proposed. Along with this, an increase of 40, 80 and 100 per cent has been proposed at many locations. If this hike is implemented, people will find it costlier to buy plots and houses. The District Evaluation Committee has prepared its final proposal and presented it to the Central Evaluation Committee.

guideline almost final

The new collector guideline for the financial year 2023-24 is almost finalized. In this, preparations have been made to shock the public once again. Where properties are becoming costlier, there are claims of registration at rates higher than the guidelines. On the basis of that only increased rates ranging from 5 to 100 percent were proposed. The special thing is that the officers presented the data of such registries, where registration has been done at increased rates, but hid the information of those locations where deals are not being done. The reason is that the rates of the lands here have already been wildly hiked by the officers. From which it is clear that the target of the officers is only to increase the rate of the land, whether the property is sold or not.

Same logic for rate hike every time

The MLAs are also members of the District Evaluation Committee. Their names are sent by the minister in charge. Every time during the meeting, the officers of the Registration Department keep the registry done at rates higher than the guideline, the basis of increasing the rates. Committee member Rameshwar Sharma has also raised questions on this. The MLA said that it is also a matter of investigation as to how someone is buying the land at double the amount.
