Bhopal. Operation Matrushakti Abhiyan of Railway Protection Force of all the three divisions of West Central Railway proved to be helpful for many people. During the year, 378 pregnant women got help from this. This helped 220 pregnant women in railway premises and 158 in trains. In this, where 7 women were delivered in Bhopal Railway Division. He was given medical facility. So, along with theft of railway property and safety of passengers, RPF saved the lives of 873 male and 543 female passengers on platforms, railway tracks and trains. Rescued 604 people from smugglers and also arrested 207 smugglers. Now women constables are also posted at RPF posts of Bhopal, Jabalpur and Kota divisions. They help in the safety of women passengers traveling in trains and like a friend. Bhopal Railway Protection Force Post helped more than 213 runaway or stray children throughout the year. So there saved the lives of a dozen passengers while falling from the moving train. The lady constable of RPF helped two pregnant women. In fact, recently a report has been issued by the Railways. In which what work is being done by the RPF team to help the mothers and children on the moving trains and stations. In which more and more obstetricians were helped by doing good work on behalf of the RPF team of West Central Railway zone in different zones across the country.
Meri Saheli scheme effective for lone women travelers
For the safety and assistance of women passengers traveling alone in trains, Railway Protection Force has implemented Meri Saheli Yojana. Constables take feedback from women aboard long distance trains passing through Bhopal Railway Division at major stations. During this, she asks the women passengers whether there was any problem during the journey? If a female passenger points out a problem, efforts are made to solve it. Two special teams remain ready 24 hours for help and security in trains passing through Bhopal division. This team is running between Bina, Bhopal, Itarsi and Khandwa. In which one sub-inspector, two female constables and two male constables live.
