In fact, the patricar manager should demand more and more food for the passengers in the train. That’s why before coming to the big station, they used to delay the train by chainpulling it.

This is how the manager got caught

In connection with the incident of chain pulling and pressure drop in train number 15017 Kashi Express, Deputy Inspector Dharmendra and Constable Savita Nandan Pawar of Railway Protection Force Outpost Banapura were deployed under covert surveillance. It was found that pressure drop/chain pulling occurred four times in this train between Khandwa-Banapura. But before the vehicle stopped, it used to move due to the pressure coming. After this, after the pressure drop again at kilometer number 693/28 between Timarni-Banapura, on checking in the pantrycar by the sub-inspector, Pantrycar manager Suraj Singh s/o Rajkumar Singh, aged 27 years, resident of village Ghara police station, Kabrai district Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh. Caught red handed while pulling the ACP handle. On being asked, he told that chain pulling is done by him to slow down the vehicle. So that the train does not reach Itarsi station before the scheduled time, because the sale of food reduces when the train reaches Itarsi station before the scheduled time. On which action was taken by registering a case against the pantrycar manager at Out Post Banapura under crime number 1089/23 section 141, 145 of the Railway Act. He accepted during interrogation. He told that from April 11, he used to delay the train like this. It is worth mentioning that on checking the said pantry car, about 6 persons were caught doing illegal vending without medical card etc. , 1095/ 23 under Section 137, 144 of the Railway Act, statutory action was taken.
