MP NEWS: Farmers upset due to non availability of fertilizer, protest on the road

MP NEWS:Datia. Farmers in Madhya Pradesh are once again facing problems regarding the fertilizer (Urea) to be applied in the fields. In Datia district, farmers standing outside the committee were seen shouting slogans, angry over not getting fertilizer. Whereas the Chief Minister has given instructions to ensure that farmers can get fertilizer easily.

Farmers were upset due to not getting fertilizer. During this time, angry farmers blocked the market gate and started raising slogans against the administration. Here, farmers were standing in queue since morning to get fertilizer. During this time, the employees distributing fertilizer refused to give fertilizer to the farmers.

Chief Minister’s instructions

Angry farmers blocked the market outside the Mandi gate raising slogans against the administration as the employees did not provide fertilizer to the farmers. Farmers told that they have been standing in line for three-four days but are not getting DAP fertilizer. As soon as the information about the jam was received, the police personnel reached the spot and on the persuasion of Tehsildar Brijmohan Arya, the farmers opened the jam.

To ensure that farmers in the state do not face fertilizer problems, Chief Minister Shivraj himself held a review meeting with officials regarding fertilizer distribution. During this time, the Chief Minister has also instructed that the time of sowing in the fields has started. In such a situation, proper arrangements should be made to ensure that the farmers of the state do not face shortage of fertilizers. Farmers have once again expressed their anger due to shortage of fertilizers. Due to the road demonstration by farmers in Datia, pedestrians also had to face problems.
