Therefore, the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah-Nikah Yojana was started in the year 2006. Various schemes have been run by the state government to provide opportunities for progress to the daughters. He said that Ladli Laxmi Yojana, along with every possible help for studies, encouragement and cooperation is being provided to the daughters at every step. Giving reservation to women in Panchayat and urban bodies elections and exemption in stamp duty in registration of immovable property is an important step towards women empowerment. Ladli Bahna Yojana will increase the self-esteem and self-reliance of women. The state government will leave no stone unturned for the welfare of mother, sister and daughter.
