Bhopal. After the withdrawal of nominations for the assembly elections, the election picture has become clear. Under which election symbols have also been distributed to the candidates contesting in the assembly constituency. This time, due to the large number of candidates in Narela and Govindpura areas, two ballot unit machines will have to be installed in these two assemblies. In such a situation, 699 more ballot units will have to be installed at 369 polling stations in Govindpura and 330 in Narela. The District Election Office has already done randomization of EVMs at the assembly level. Now randomization of EVMs going to polling stations will be done. In such a situation, two ballot units each will be installed at the polling stations of Narela and Govindpura assembly. Under which there will be election symbol buttons of 23 candidates and one NOTA button in Narela. Similarly, 17 candidates and one NOTA button will be placed in Govindpura. Upazila Election Officer Ravi Shankar Rai says that due to increase in the number of candidates, two ballot units each will be set up in Narela and Govindpura. For which randomization will be done.
Highest number of polling stations in Govindpura
In the assembly-wise randomization, 2 thousand 375 ballot units, control units and 2 thousand 574 VVPAT machines were randomized. This time the number of polling stations is 270 in Berasia, 246 in Bhopal North, 330 in Narela, 233 in Bhopal South West, 243 in Bhopal Central, 369 in Govindpura and 343 in Huzur assembly constituency. In which 15 auxiliary polling stations have also been included, due to which the number of polling stations has increased from 2034 to 2049.
– 96 candidates in the fray, 41 independents
96 candidates are in the fray for the voting on seven assembly seats to be held on November 17. On the last day of withdrawal of nominations, 19 people have withdrawn their names. Maximum 7 names have returned from North. After this 4 names from south-west. In two days, 21 have withdrawn their names and 12’s forms have been rejected. There are candidates from BJP, Congress, SP, BSP, AAP and other parties and 41 independent candidates.

Independent candidates will try their best to save the security deposit in seven constituencies.
Four sitting MLAs include BJP’s Berasia Vishnu Khatri, Narela Vishwas Sarang, Govindpura Krishna Gaur and Huzur’s Rameshwar Sharma and Congress’ Arif Akil from North, Arif Masood from Central and PC Sharma from South-West. In such a situation, maximum rebellion is visible in the North seat. Here Arif Akil’s middle son Atif has been given the ticket. For which his uncle Aamir Akil, Congress leader Nasir Islam and Mohammad Saud from Aam Aadmi Party are in the election fray. In such a situation, it seems difficult for Atif to get this seat. Here, Congress’s official candidate from Narela, Manoj Shukla, has been given the Panja symbol, while Manoj Shukla, who is contesting as an independent candidate from the same constituency, has been given the Stumps election symbol.
