While addressing the gathering, Narayan Tripathi said that he does not do caste politics. He sacrificed his MLA post for the development of Maihar. Along with this, Narayan Tripathi also took the pledge of giving 1 lakh votes from the supporters sitting in the gathering with both hands. Although it is not yet clear from which party he will contest the elections, but from his statements it is clear that he can now contest the elections from his own party Vindhya Janata Party.
