MP News: Local miscreants fatally attacked the sarpanch late on Sunday night in Bhangwa village under Jawa police station area of Rewa district. The miscreants attacked the sarpanch several times with an axe, the sarpanch suffered serious injuries on his head and several parts of his body. Doctors referred the injured sarpanch to Sanjay Gandhi Medical Hospital in Rewa after doing first aid. Police was informed by the local people. The police reached the spot and started investigation by registering a case of attempt to murder against the accused.
Actually, Sarpanch Amarjeet Kol had a dispute with two local youths Dhiru Pandey and Prince Pandey due to old enmity in Bhangwa village of Jawa Janpad Panchayat at around 8 pm on Sunday night. The dispute increased so much that both the miscreants attacked Sarpanch Amarjit Kol several times with an axe. The sarpanch was badly injured in the attack, with serious injuries on his head and several parts of his body.
After executing the incident, both the accused fled from the spot. Additional SP Anil Sonkar told that after the incident, a case has been registered against the accused under section 307 and the search for the accused has been started. The police have raided two places to arrest the accused, but till now the police have not got any clue.
