An increase of about 4 degrees has been registered due to the movement of clouds in the night. Clouds, rain and moist winds are not able to hold the heat in the state including the city. On Tuesday, for the fourth consecutive day, the heat wave remained weak in most of the districts as day and night temperature was less than normal. Rain was also recorded in Mandla, Damoh districts. In Bhopal, the day’s temperature increased by two decimal points to 37.3 degrees, which is two degrees less than normal. The night temperature increased by 3.2 degrees to 21.7 degrees, 1.5 degrees less than normal. Apart from this, in Gwalior, Datia, Dhar, Khajuraho, Sagar, Satna, Seoni, the night temperature remained 5 to 7 degrees less than normal, there was a lot of relief from the heat. According to the Meteorological Center, there will be rain and showers in the districts of Jabalpur, Shahdol division and Betul, Khandwa, Harda, Khargone, Burhanpur etc. on Wednesday as well. According to meteorologist AK Shukla, due to the activation of a new system, there will be showers in most of the districts of the state, due to which the maximum temperature across the state is expected to drop further by 2 to 3 degrees in two days.

Day’s mercury below 40 degrees:

On Tuesday, the day’s temperature has been recorded below 40 degrees across the state. The lowest maximum temperature in the state was 30.2 degrees in Pachmarhi, which is 3 degrees less than normal. There was respite from the scorching heat as the average maximum temperature was recorded at 34 degrees.
