With the aim of providing information about the correct prices of medicines to the patients and citizens, the MP State Price Monitoring and Resource Unit has launched the ‘Pharma Sahi Daam’ mobile app. On Tuesday, a campaign was conducted in Kolar and Jaypee Hospital to promote the mobile application. The purpose of the mobile app launched by NPPA is to inform people about the correct prices of medicines. Posters have been strategically placed in all government hospitals by conducting an awareness campaign under the MPPMRU Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Pharma Sahi Daam App allows people to access accurate pricing details for their prescribed medicines.

The poster has a QR code which people can scan to download the app. Doctors, pharmacists and consumers say that the app is a very effective way of ensuring availability of medicines within the budget.
