Something similar happened at the Bajaria police station in the capital Bhopal where the police caught an e-rickshaw driver during checking on Sunday. He was accused of driving under the influence of alcohol. After which his rickshaw was confiscated. During this, there was an argument between the police and the driver. Due to this the rickshaw driver got so upset that he killed himself by being cut off from the train on the railway track located behind Shehnai Garden. Police has not received any suicide from the rickshaw puller.
The name of the deceased was Deepak Sahu s/o Nannulal Sahu, he lived in the street Chhola in front of Shiv Mandir. Deepak Sahu’s son Ashish told that his father used to drive an e-rickshaw on rent. He was upset due to the confiscation of the e-rickshaw. Because of this he took this step. On Monday evening, he was informed by an acquaintance of the father that the e-rickshaw was seized by Bajaria police station during checking. The father made many requests to get rid of the rickshaw, the police talked about seizing the rickshaw and getting it released from the court. It is estimated that the father has taken this step due to the confiscation of the hired rickshaw.
