Two schools and their hostels are run by the Department of Social Justice and Disabled Welfare in Sparsh Bhawan constructed in front of Pari Bazaar in Shahjahanabad. In these, students from the districts of Bhopal division are given admission. One is a government higher secondary school for the visually and hearing impaired and the other is a government residential school for mentally underdeveloped boys and girls. According to the information, there are separate hostels of 100 seats each for both the schools. About 250 children are enrolled in Uma Vidyalaya for visual and hearing impairment and about 60 children want to stay in the hostel, but the hostel is closed. Although the school is being operated. At the same time, about 52 children are enrolled in the government residential school for mentally underdeveloped boys and girls and 22 are studying in hostels.

Staff shortage continues for a long time

Hostel will start after elections
