Bhopal Dengue Cases: Dengue larvae found in 20 thousand houses, more than 8 patients being found every day.

Bhopal. The number of dengue patients in the city has increased to 410. Eight to ten new patients are emerging every day. Dengue larvae are thriving in about 20,000 houses in the city. There are about one thousand of these houses where larvae are being found repeatedly during investigation. This information has emerged from the data received from the Malaria Department. According to the information received from the District Malaria Office, under the campaign being run for dengue control, till now dengue larva survey has been conducted in more than three and a half lakh houses of Bhopal. Of these, there are more than 20 thousand houses where dengue larvae have been found. 40 teams are engaged for larva survey. Each team has more than three members, who are conducting door-to-door larval surveys. The houses where the larvae are found are immediately destroyed on the spot. Apart from this, fine action has also been taken in the houses where dengue larvae have been found more than twice.

Municipal Corporation is not doing fogging

This may increase further in the coming days. There is a possibility of this because the fogging being done by the Municipal Corporation is not being taken seriously. This is the reason why even after making calls, the corporation staff is not reaching the areas to do fogging. In fact, field teams have been deployed by the corporation in different areas of the city to kill mosquitoes. For this, they have been given 11 big machines loaded on four-wheelers and more than 15 hand machines. .

More than 100 field staff active

District Malaria Officer Akhilesh Dubey said that more than 100 field staff in our 44 teams are engaged in dengue control work. Along with continuous dengue larva survey, people are also being made aware and measures to avoid dengue are also being told.
