BHOPAL CRIME:Bhopal. A complaint has been lodged against the operators of a jewelery shop who were cheating customers while doing jewelery business in the city. The jewelery shop was being run by two real brothers. The police have arrested the accused.
The jewelers are accused of keeping some customers coming to the shop on their trust and giving them money by mortgaging the old jewelery in the name of making a new design. This was the reason why the accused did not deliver the jewelery to the customer on time.

According to the information received, the accused has a shop in the name of Priyanka Jewelers in the bullion market of the city. This shop was run by two real brothers, Prateek Rastogi and Ankit Rastogi. The accused deceived about 50 customers and tampered with their jewellery. The accused has already earned lakhs of rupees from this fraud incident.
According to police information, both the accused brothers together had found a new way to commit the fraud. To lure the female customers coming to the shop, the accused used to show samples of new designs of gold and silver jewelery and promise to get it ready at a lower price. Customers who came to the talks of the accused expressed confidence and left their jewelery there. During this period, the accused also extorted money from the customers in the name of advance and also mortgaged the jewelery elsewhere. According to the information received, the accused were doing such acts for the last 2 years. A customer approached the police and lodged a complaint regarding the matter. After which the exploits of the accused have been revealed. Both the accused brothers were absconding after complaining to the police. One of these accused was arrested by the police. Whereas the second accused is still out of reach of the police.
