Security forces killed two terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla.
Two terrorists have been killed in an encounter with security forces and terrorists in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. The police of Kashmir Zone said that the encounter with the terrorists started on Thursday morning in Vanigam Payeen Kriri area of Baramulla. The information about the hiding of the terrorists was given by the intelligence agencies. After this, they cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. According to the Kashmir Zone Police, two terrorists have been killed in the Baramulla encounter.
Both of them are being identified. Incriminating material, arms and ammunition including one AK 47 rifle and one pistol were also recovered from them on the spot. With this the entire area has been covered. There is a ban on the movement of any person. Heavy security forces have been deployed in the area.
What did ADGP Kashmir tell
The ADGP of Kashmir told that both the terrorists killed in the encounter are local. Both of them are related to Lashkar. They have been identified as Shakir Majid Nazar and Hanan Ahmad Seh of Shopian district. Both the terrorists were associated with Lashkar in the month of March itself. Police is investigating further in this matter.

Infiltration attempt foiled in Kupwara
Earlier on Wednesday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army had foiled an infiltration bid near Pichnad Machil sector on Wednesday. In this operation, two terrorists were killed during the encounter. According to media reports,
The intelligence agency had informed that terrorist activities can be seen on the Machil sector across the LoC. After this, the security forces were put on high alert on Monday on a possible infiltration attempt. The security forces had achieved great success by killing both of them.
