In this episode, the Indian Army has achieved a major success in Jammu and Kashmir. On March 24, BSF foiled an infiltration bid at Tangdhar in Kupwara district and killed a terrorist. Along with this, the security forces have arrested two terrorists in Bandipora. According to media reports, a large quantity of arms and ammunition have been recovered from the terrorists.

The infiltrator coming from the Pakistan side of the international border was earlier asked by the BSF to stop, but he ignored their words and continued with the infiltration. After this, the jawans started firing on the intruder and killed him in no time. He was searched after he was gunned down and during this time BSF personnel recovered AK-47 rifle, three pistols, three magazines, 2 Chinese hand grenades and more than 200 AK-47 rifle bullets from him. Apart from this, BSF jawans have also recovered some food items and medicines from the terrorist.
Action taken in Bandipora as well
An infiltration bid from Pakistan has also been foiled in Bandapora. Bandipora police and CRPF jointly launched a joint operation, in which two terrorists trying to infiltrate were nabbed. Two China-made grenades have been recovered from them. According to media reports, police and CRPF personnel had received intelligence that some terrorists were trying to infiltrate. After this, the CRPF along with the police launched a joint operation and achieved success.
