A major accident took place in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday morning. A bus full of passengers lost control and fell into a gorge near Jhajjar Kotli on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. In this, about 7 people have died and more than 12 people have been seriously injured. According to media reports, the bus carrying 75 passengers was going from Amritsar to Katra in Jammu and Kashmir at the time of the accident. All the injured have been admitted to a PHC hospital in Jammu for treatment. After this big bus accident, the work of rescue and relief is being done on the spot.

CRPF (CRPF) Assistant Commandant Ashok Chaudhary told about the accident that CRPF, police and other teams are also present here for the rescue operation. An ambulance was called here and the work of immediately taking the injured to the hospital has also been done. He said that the bodies have also been sent to the hospital and a crane has been called here to see if anyone is trapped under the bus. The work of relief and rescue is going on. It is also being told that the bus was coming from Amritsar and most of the people from Bihar were traveling in it. Also, they might have forgotten the way to Katra and reached here.
