A total of 31 terrorists have been eliminated in the Union Territory in the year 2023. One terrorist was killed in a joint operation by Jammu and Kashmir Police, Indian Army and SSB. In a separate operation, five terrorists were killed. It is noteworthy that a total of 187 terrorists were killed in Jammu and Kashmir in 2022. Of these, 130 were local terrorists and 57 were foreign terrorists.

204 terrorists were caught

According to media reports, a total of 204 terrorists have been caught in Jammu and Kashmir between January 1 and September 26 this year. Last month, four terrorists were killed and 40 were captured. Officials also said that there are currently 111 active terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, which includes 40 local terrorists and 71 foreign terrorists. If we compare with last year, there were 137 active terrorists there.
