Himachal Pradesh Road Accident:A painful road accident took place in the Sunni area of Shimla on Monday. Here a jeep full of workers fell into a ditch. 6 people have died in this accident. Giving information about the incident, ASP Head Quarter Shimla Sunil Negi said that 6 people died and 6 were injured after a jeep fell into a ditch in Sunni area. The injured have been admitted to hospital. Police are investigating the matter. Police say that the driver lost control of the jeep. Due to which this accident has happened. There were 12 workers in the vehicle, who worked as laborers in Himachal Pradesh. Nine of these were residents of Kulgan district of Jammu and Kashmir. All the workers were going from Sunni to Mandi in a jeep. During this time this accident happened. In this accident, three laborers died on the spot. While three others were declared dead by doctors in the hospital. The deceased laborers have been identified as Farid (24), Gulab (43), Shabir (19), Talib (23), Gulzar (30) and Mushtaq (30), all residents of Kulgam. Six injured people are undergoing treatment at Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital. They have been identified as vehicle drivers Ranjeet, Aslam, Talib Hussain, Akash Kumar, Ajay Thakur and Manzoor.
CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu expressed grief over the incident.
Meanwhile, Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has expressed deep grief over the death of people in the accident. He expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased. Along with this, he has instructed the officials to ensure that the injured get good treatment.
