There were 12 workers in the vehicle, who worked as laborers in Himachal Pradesh. Nine of these were residents of Kulgan district of Jammu and Kashmir. All the workers were going from Sunni to Mandi in a jeep. During this time this accident happened. In this accident, three laborers died on the spot. While three others were declared dead by doctors in the hospital. The deceased laborers have been identified as Farid (24), Gulab (43), Shabir (19), Talib (23), Gulzar (30) and Mushtaq (30), all residents of Kulgam. Six injured people are undergoing treatment at Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital. They have been identified as vehicle drivers Ranjeet, Aslam, Talib Hussain, Akash Kumar, Ajay Thakur and Manzoor.
